"TAXI" documents the advertising and marketing of Berlin's 24/7 delivery services, colloquially known as "Koks-Taxis".
136 stickers, AI-generated, densely designed, eye candied coloured, insightful, amusing, explosive — lay out an entire shadow-economy product range: pricing, discounts, delivery windows, opening hours, most anchored by a telephone number or QR code for ordering via chat.
Collected purely as found objects, the stickers are reproduced as-is: a study of highly professional commerce operating on the edge of legality.
"TAXI" is purely archival and voyeuristic: a starting point, though, for wider conversations around drug use, party culture, addiction, its treatment and prevention — the legalisation of drugs and Berlin's role in it, and, above all, guerrilla marketing, an Amazon-like level of customer service and, foremost, graphic design.
All material was collected as found objects between Winter 2025 and Summer 2026 in Berlin. No purchase was made through any of the services depicted and, following advice from legal counsel, all sensitive information has been redacted.
